Members of St. Joseph the Worker Parish's Service & Outreach Committee recently spent two days counting and documenting over 500 inventory items at the soon-to-open
Refuge for Women Emergency House.
We thank all of the members from Service and Outreach who spent countless hours of much needed work to help set up the new Emergency House for Refuge for Women. The photo is a sample of what one of the rooms looks like... it is awaiting it's guest and will provide a safe place for healing and growing in faith.
Refuge for Women is a national faith-based organization providing a residential healing and recovery program for survivors of trafficking and sexual exploitation to receive safe housing, counseling, life and work skills development. The house anticipates opening in Spring 2022. If you'd like to learn more about Refuge for Women or how you can help, please visit their website at:

Please keep these women and all those who find themselves in unsafe, dangerous situations in your continued prayers.
