CONFESSIONS Confessions will continue to be heard outside our churches. On Saturdays from 12 noon to 1 pm at the entrance of Madonna Church and St. John Fisher Church. On Monday evenings from 7 to 8 pm at the entrance of St. Maurice Church.
CHURCH OPEN FOR PERSONAL PRAYER Beginning Monday, May 18, St. Maurice Church will be open for personal prayer, from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. Please be sure to exercise social distancing, and wear a mask.
ANOINTING OF THE SICK Priests will continue to offer anointing of the sick to any parishioners who are gravely ill and at home. Please call the parish office (412-271-0809) to request a priest. At this time priests are not permitted to anoint in local hospitals because of the coronavirus.
DAILY MASS and SUNDAY MASS We are still waiting for permission from the Diocese of Pittsburgh to open our churches for daily and Sunday Masses. We will inform you when that happens, and what are the restrictions for participating at Mass.
ADORATION and ROSARY Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Rosary devotions will begin once our churches are open for daily and Sunday Masses.
BAPTISMS Infant baptisms are still not permitted, except in case of grave illness.
FUNERALS and WEDDINGS Funerals (either a Mass in church or a blessing service in a funeral home) and weddings are permitted. However, there is a limit of 10 persons for attendance, with social distancing and wearing of masks. Public prayers by priests and deacons in cemeteries are still not permitted.
