St. Joseph the Worker Parish has been blessed with having Fr. Cassian Edwards, OSB with us for the last few years as he has been completing additional studies in Liturgy. He is an amazing priest, a kind soul and a good person. His liturgies are dynamic and he is passionate about bringing other closers to God! Fr. Cassian will be heading back to St. Vincent in August and then will head west to complete his final year for his advanced degree in Liturgy. Although he will be leaving us, he will always be in our hearts and minds (and we will only need to smell the sweet scent of incense to remember him). Please join us for a farewell reception for Fr. Cassian on Saturday, July 29 after the 4PM Mass at St. John Fisher in Beaufort Hall. Fr. Cassian will be celebrating the 4PM Mass and we invite folks to head down after Mass to wish him well. Our Hospitality Committee will be planning the farewell gathering and they have asked folks to call the Parish Office at 412-271-0809 to RSVP for the reception. May God continue to bless you, Fr. Cassian! You have made a difference in the lives of the parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Parish and we will miss you!
