We give thanks for the life of Pope Francis, a shepherd who urged the Church to go beyond its walls and bring Christ to the margins. “I prefer a Church which is bruised, hurting and dirty because it has been out on the streets,” he once said. His call to live as “missionary disciples” has deeply inspired us at Saint Joseph the Worker Parish. In our outreach, evangelization, and daily witness, we strive to carry forward his legacy of a Church that goes out in love.
